KEIS provides co-ordinated early childhood intervention services for more than 200 families each year who live in the ten local government areas of Wagga Wagga, Temora, Cootamundra, Junee, Coolamon, Tumut, Tumbarumba, Gundagai, Narrandera and Lockhart. KEIS also conducts supported play groups for single, young, low income, first time or isolated families in the Wagga Wagga and Temora areas.

MARASHEL ACCOMMODATION SERVICE (WEST WYALONG) Marashel Accommodation Service provides group home accommodation where staff support adult service users in all aspects of their daily living. In all Kurrajong Waratah's Supported Accommodation services a strong focus is on quality lifestyles including participation and involvement in their community to gain independence and skills. BUSINESS SUPPORT SERVICES Adults with a disability can receive assistance from Kurrajong Waratah's Work Solutions service to obtain employment with businesses in the community operated by others , or from the three main business areas operated by Kurrajong Waratah .
WORK SOLUTIONS
Work Solutions is also the 'Gateway' for people with a disability seeking vocational training and employment in one of the three main business areas operated directly by Kurrajong Waratah . These include Waratah Industries, Kurrajong Recyclers and Kurrajong Small Business Services. Work Solutions provides a 'Futures Gateway' service to school leavers with a disability through the NSW Governments ATLAS and Post School Options programs in the local government areas of Wagga Wagga, Coolamon, Junee, Leeton, Narrandera, Temora, West Wyalong. The aims and objectives of the se programs is to assist school leavers with disabilities and their families in the transition from school to employment (Futures Gateway) or to determine the options and support services that best meet their needs. Work Solutions provides VETAB accredited pre-employment courses and has training facilities for hire.

KSBS operates a catering business, Culinary Capers, in Wagga Wagga providing specialised catering for business and personal events. Our employees develop food preparation handling skills, hospitality skills and deal with customers when delivering orders. Culinary Capers can cater for lunches, morning and afternoon teas, conferences, seminars, staff training, special occasions celebration. They also provide fundraising opportunities with their products for pre school kindergartens, child care centres, schools and clubs. Culinary Capers produces a range of products to local cafés, coffee shops, schools and clubs. This range includes diced chicken meat, quiche, sweet and savoury pies, muffins and cakes. The Clothes Basket operates from modern premises at 156 Fitzmaurice Street, Wagga Wagga. Along with our quality ironing service, our new premises provide a convenient central location with off street parking. KURRAJONG INTERNAL MAINTENANCE Kurrajong Maintenance provide a property and building maintenance service with the help of a crew of employees with a disability, to all of Kurrajong Waratah's premises within the Riverina. This section is also responsible for the management of the organisation's motor vehicle fleet and the NSW Government Contract local school bus run. Cypress Centre Recycling operates a paper and cardboard recycling business in Narrandera. This business employs seven people with a disability. Drop off bins are located at the front of the premises and paper and cardboard can be dropped off 24 hours a day. Local businesses can arrange to have their paper and cardboard collected for a reasonable fee. Located at Shop 8, 89 Pine Avenue Leeton. A quality ironing service at a reasonable price and quick turnaround. We also offer a pick up and delivery service, laundering and ironing of shirts, pants and dresses. NARRANDERA LAUNDRY & LINEN SERVICE KSBS operates a laundry and linen service from premises in Narrandera. The Narrandera Laundry & Linen Service provides a comprehensive laundry and linen hire pick up and drop off business to motels, hotels and clubs in the area. Table cloths are available for hire. Conveniently located in the premises of Narrandera Laundry & Linen Service at 12 Myrtle Street Narrandera. A quality ironing service which also offers pick up and delivery and pressing of large linen items. KSBS operates a café, Café Peckish, in West Wyalong, providing lovely cakes, slices and light meals. Café Peckish also offers a catering service for business and personal events. Our employees develop food preparation handling skills and hospitality skills. Located in picturesque McCann Park, Café Peckish provides a pleasant and relaxing place for travellers to grab a bite on their route or for busy working people wanting a sandwich. Spins Recycling in partnership with Kurrajong Recyclers, collect and bale cardboard and paper from business houses and householders in West Wyalong and Wyalong for recycling. This business employs eight people with a disability. The aim of Kurrajong Waratah's three Business Support Services is to assist adults with a disability to achieve their fullest potential in employment by developing and maintaining their range of vocational skills and competencies. |
