COMMUNTIY SUPPORT SERVICE
Kurrajong Waratah has a number of services which provide assistance and support to babies, children and adults with a disability and to their families from through out the Riverina Murray Regions

KURRAJONG EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICE (KEIS)
KEIS provides a comprehensive range of services and support for families who have children aged from birth to school age with disabilities or delays in two or more areas of their development. These services include speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, specialised early

education and family support. KEIS provides co-ordinated early childhood intervention services for more than 200 families each year who live in the ten local government areas of Wagga Wagga, Temora, Cootamundra, Junee, Coolamon, Tumut, Tumbarumba, Gundagai, Narrandera and Lockhart.

KEIS also conducts supported play groups for single, young, low income, first time or isolated families in the Wagga Wagga and Temora areas.

SKILLS OPTIONS
Skills Options provides a service to adults with an intellectual disability Monday to Friday 9am until 3pm. The focus is to provide valued practical activities where people can develop and maintain skills in such areas as volunteer work, communication, creative expression, living skills and community participation.

ALLAMBIE DAY/WORK SERVICE - LEETON
Allambie Day/Work service provides a similar service to Skills Options as well as a supported work program to people with a disability from the communities of Leeton, Narrandera and outlying areas.

RETIRELINK
RetireLink provides a flexible service that responds to the changing needs of people with disabilities who are ageing. RetireLink offers its service users opportunities to develop new interests, maintain skills and enjoy community participation.

RMADO (RIVERINA MURRAY AREA DISABILITY OPTIONS)
RMADO operates across the entire Riverina Murray regions and aims to assist adults with disabilities who currently have no employment or day service to obtain these services. RMADO works through developing and strengthening links with broader local communities to develop day options for adults with disabilities by providing support and some funding towards the provision of services.

WAGGA WAGGA ADULT ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT SERVICE
Adult Accommodation Service provides community based group home accommodation where staff support adult service users in all aspects of their daily living. Respite is available one weekend per month for adults with a disability.

COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORT SERVICE
Community Living Support Service provides 'drop in' assistance and support to enable adults with low support needs to live in their own houses and flats in the Wagga Wagga community as independently as possible.

CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENT ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT SERVICE
Children and Adolescent Accommodation Support Service provides group home accommodation in Wagga Wagga for school aged children who have a disability. This service operates Monday to Friday. Respite care is available during school holidays and on weekends.

ALLAMBIE ACCOMMODATION SERVICE (LEETON)
Allambie Accommodation Service provides group home accommodation in Leeton where staff support adult service users in all aspects of their daily living. Respite care is available for adults with a disability.

MARASHEL ACCOMMODATION SERVICE (WEST WYALONG) Marashel Accommodation Service provides group home accommodation where staff support adult service users in all aspects of their daily living.

In all Kurrajong Waratah's Supported Accommodation services a strong focus is on quality lifestyles including participation and involvement in their community to gain independence and skills.

BUSINESS SUPPORT SERVICES

Adults with a disability can receive assistance from Kurrajong Waratah's Work Solutions service to obtain employment with businesses in the community operated by others , or from the three main business areas operated by Kurrajong Waratah .

WORK SOLUTIONS
Work Solutions is the ' Gateway' for all enquiries regarding work experience, employment and vocational training provided by Kurrajong Waratah. Work Solutions has successfully found employment for people with a disability in competitive labour markets around the Riverina Murray regions with businesses in the community operated by others.

Work Solutions is also the 'Gateway' for people with a disability seeking vocational training and employment in one of the three main business areas operated directly by Kurrajong Waratah . These include Waratah Industries, Kurrajong Recyclers and Kurrajong Small Business Services.

Work Solutions provides a 'Futures Gateway' service to school leavers with a disability through the NSW Governments ATLAS and Post School Options programs in the local government areas of Wagga Wagga, Coolamon, Junee, Leeton, Narrandera, Temora, West Wyalong. The aims and objectives of the se programs is to assist school leavers with disabilities and their families in the transition from school to employment (Futures Gateway) or to determine the options and support services that best meet their needs.

Work Solutions provides VETAB accredited pre-employment courses and has training facilities for hire.

WARATAH INDUSTRIES
Waratah Industries is a timber processing and manufacturing business with a focus on value adding to the region ' s timber mill products. Waratah Industries also has a variety of short and long term contracts with businesses that allow further flexible employment skill development by employees. Vocational skill s may be developed on a range of timber processing equipment includ ing dockers, saws, routers, sanders, moulders and end jointing machinery.

KURRAJONG RECYCLERS
Kurrajong Recyclers i s a regional recycling business that provides a range of employment and vocational training opportunities associated with the recycling and processing of paper, cardboard, alumin i um, steel, plastic and glass. Kurrajong Recyclers encourages people with a disability to gain workplace skills including bobcat and forklift operation, truck driver training, process work , the operation of various machinery and presses and valuable skills in team building, communication and self esteem.

KURRAJONG SMALL BUSINESS SERVICES
Operates nine small businesses located in Wagga Wagga, West Wyalong, Leeton and Narrandera.

CULINARY CAPERS

KSBS operates a catering business, Culinary Capers, in Wagga Wagga providing specialised catering for business and personal events. Our employees develop food preparation handling skills, hospitality skills and deal with customers when delivering orders.

Culinary Capers can cater for lunches, morning and afternoon teas, conferences, seminars, staff training, special occasions celebration. They also provide fundraising opportunities with their products for pre school kindergartens, child care centres, schools and clubs.

Culinary Capers produces a range of products to local cafés, coffee shops, schools and clubs. This range includes diced chicken meat, quiche, sweet and savoury pies, muffins and cakes.

THE CLOTHES BASKET

The Clothes Basket operates from modern premises at 156 Fitzmaurice Street, Wagga Wagga. Along with our quality ironing service, our new premises provide a convenient central location with off street parking.

KURRAJONG INTERNAL MAINTENANCE

Kurrajong Maintenance provide a property and building maintenance service with the help of a crew of employees with a disability, to all of Kurrajong Waratah's premises within the Riverina. This section is also responsible for the management of the organisation's motor vehicle fleet and the NSW Government Contract local school bus run.

CYPRESS CENTRE RECYLCING

Cypress Centre Recycling operates a paper and cardboard recycling business in Narrandera. This business employs seven people with a disability. Drop off bins are located at the front of the premises and paper and cardboard can be dropped off 24 hours a day. Local businesses can arrange to have their paper and cardboard collected for a reasonable fee.

LEETON IRONING BASKET

Located at Shop 8, 89 Pine Avenue Leeton. A quality ironing service at a reasonable price and quick turnaround. We also offer a pick up and delivery service, laundering and ironing of shirts, pants and dresses.

NARRANDERA LAUNDRY & LINEN SERVICE

KSBS operates a laundry and linen service from premises in Narrandera. The Narrandera Laundry & Linen Service provides a comprehensive laundry and linen hire pick up and drop off business to motels, hotels and clubs in the area. Table cloths are available for hire.

NARRANDERA IRONING SERVICE

Conveniently located in the premises of Narrandera Laundry & Linen Service at 12 Myrtle Street Narrandera. A quality ironing service which also offers pick up and delivery and pressing of large linen items.

CAFE PECKISH

KSBS operates a café, Café Peckish, in West Wyalong, providing lovely cakes, slices and light meals. Café Peckish also offers a catering service for business and personal events. Our employees develop food preparation handling skills and hospitality skills.

Located in picturesque McCann Park, Café Peckish provides a pleasant and relaxing place for travellers to grab a bite on their route or for busy working people wanting a sandwich.

SPINS RECYCLING

Spins Recycling in partnership with Kurrajong Recyclers, collect and bale cardboard and paper from business houses and householders in West Wyalong and Wyalong for recycling. This business employs eight people with a disability.

The aim of Kurrajong Waratah's three Business Support Services is to assist adults with a disability to achieve their fullest potential in employment by developing and maintaining their range of vocational skills and competencies.
