RetirelinkRetireLink is a day service initiative of Kurrajong Waratah and was established in 2003. RetireLink was developed in response to the changing needs of service users from Skills Options, Employment Services and the community at large. RetireLink provides support to people with disabilities who are ageing to maintain existing skills, develop new interests and enjoy community participation. RetireLink is about linking adults with an intellectual disability to a new stage in their lives - Retirement. RetireLink is about making retirement a rewarding time for service users and their families by recognising that people attending RetireLink have varying needs and interests. Hence RetireLink's focus on individuality. RetireLink offers its service users activities such as craft, gardening, cooking, computer and games. With its central Wagga Wagga location, RetireLink is well positioned to enable service users to access community facilities such as the South Wagga Bowling Club, the Community College, shops, medical practitioners and the Oasis swimming centre. RetireLink operates Monday to Friday from 9.30am until 2.30pm.
