Wagga Wagga Christmas Spectacular 2006The annual Wagga Wagga Christmas Spectacular was held on Wednesday December 13th at the Wagga Wagga Music Bowl. Thousands flocked to the Wagga Wagga Music Bowl for a night of singing, dancing and Christmas cheer. Acclaimed artist Gina Jeffreys gave a spectacular performance along with the Australian Army Band Kapooka. Local talents also graced the stage including Matt Olsen, Joel Harrison, Troy Fisher, Rhianna Knight and Chelsea Knight. Santa made a Spectacular appearance on the stage roof before magically appearing on the stage pleasing the many children in the crowd. Kurrajong Waratah and the organising committee would like to thank this years major sponsors without which the event would not have been possible for their support. Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year! Christmas in July 2006Wagga Business Networx held a Christmas in July function on Friday the 21st of July at the Wagga Wagga Country Club. Proceeds raised from the night will assist ten children with disabilities to experience their first beachside holiday. The children are from Kurrajong Waratah's Childrens Accomdation service. Kurrajong Waratah would like to thank Wagga Business Networx, the sponsors and all of those who supported and attended on the night. Kokoda for KurrajongRobert Carroll, Peter Gyles and five friends have conquered the infamous Kokoda trail across the As part of this challenge they endeavoured to raise money for Kurrajong Waratah’s current project of purchasing a group home, which will provide permanent accommodation for adults with disabilities from throughout the Riverina Murray region. The proceeds raised from 'Kokoda for Kurrajong' brings us a step closer in achieving our goal of purchasing a group home.
