Family SupportKurrajong Early Intervention Service is more than therapy and education services for individual children. As a 'Family Centred' service, we are committed to supporting families. After all, children in our service spend a small amount of their time in the centre with us, but almost all their time with their family. This means that the family is the most important early intervention workers on our team. Getting the best outcome for your child means supporting the whole family. Supporting the Family = Supporting the Children Our Family support team are keen to help families find out about, and access, the services they need in their local community, discuss any concerns you have with regard to your family, or just lend an ear. Remember that about 5% of children born will have a developmental delay or a disability of some kind, so you're not alone. Talking to someone about your situation can help.
