Funding

Currently fees are not charged for families to receive KEIS services.

KEIS is financially supported by a recurrent grant from the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care which provides a contribution to the running of the Service.

KEIS also applies annually for grants from the Intervention Support Program (ISP) which is part of the NSW Department of Education and Training to support the educational part of our program.

KEIS is also funded by the Federal Government under the Family Support Program through FACHSIA until June 2011. The funding received from this program provides early childhood intervention services to the 9 Local Government services outside Wagga Wagga.

Kurrajong Waratah (KW) also provides vital support both in an administrative and financial way. KW through Development Services (the fundraising section of Kurrajong Waratah) seeks to address the short-fall in Government funding which enables the service to operate in a financially viable manner. Additional KW fundraising then contributes towards other specialised equipment, toys, resources and make up the additional running costs.

Families will be charged $10.00 for visuals, plastering and splints.
